Linda Laforge has instructed at Georgian College of Applied Arts, and teaches art to groups and individuals. Linda was a member of the Barrie Arts Committee and is a founding member and organizer for Word Up, a local all genres reading series since 2014. The author of Anyone Can Draw in Ten Sessions, she guides creative journeys, both online and in person.

When she’s not creating heirloom portrait commissions, Linda is painting and writing. She is a storyteller. Her original work melds portraiture with her love of Celtic knot design to tell the stories of her subjects, mainly climate activists and heroic figures offering visual commentary on this time we live in.
